Ending the Silence: Youth Reaching Caregiving Youth, Cowichan Family Caregiver Support Society

“We know from research and the experience of our community that many Canadian youth are caregivers. But because little is known about youth caregivers, they do not receive enough support. The “Ending the Silence” project will help our community learn about the lives of our youth caregivers. The Kids in Control Program gives information, education and support to children eight to thirteen years of age who have a parent with a serious mental illness.
